Yellostone microtopping

Microtopping floors

One continuous floor, from room to room.

Microtopping creates a seamless surface that links the living room, the kitchen and the hallway. It goes on at 2 to 3 mm and, with the bonding primer, over almost any substrate: concrete or anhydrite screed, painted surfaces, old tiles once prepared, underfloor heating.

Often called microcement, Yellostone microtopping has one difference that matters on a floor: it contains no cement.

The most popular floor colours

  • Beige: warm, it goes well with wood and natural tones.
  • White: bright, it makes a room feel bigger.
  • Grey: the classic concrete look, from light grey to anthracite.
  • Black and colours: for a floor that stands out.

120 shades in all, plus custom colours. The 30 × 30 cm sample lets you judge the shade in the room's own light.

A floor that lasts

  • Cement-free, it does not crack.
  • Two coats of varnish protect it from stains and wear.
  • On underfloor heating, the screed is heated 24 hours before application.
  • Clean it with water and a mild soap.

Laying a microtopping floor, in brief

Sanding and vacuuming the substrate, primer, three coats of microtopping, then two coats of varnish. Allow 4 to 5 days. You can walk on the floor with care after 3 to 4 days, and use it normally after 7 days.
