Yellostone microtopping

White microtopping

Two whites, and the lightest shades in the colour chart for an off-white.

The Yellostone colour chart has two whites, BL-E and BL-N. For a softer white, an off-white, the lightest greys and naturals come close: they are shown below, from the lightest to the deepest.

Often called white microcement, Yellostone microtopping contains no cement, so it does not crack.

A protected white

Two coats of varnish, matt or satin at the same price, protect the microtopping from water and stains. Cleaning stays simple: water and a mild soap.

Choosing your white

Whites are hard to tell apart on screen. Order a 30 × 30 cm sample to compare a pure white and an off-white at home, in the light of the room.

Over old tiles, a skim to zero is a must: on a light shade even more than elsewhere, the grout lines would show through. See our page on microtopping over tiles.

Frequently asked questions

Does white microtopping stain?

The two coats of varnish protect it from water and stains. Cleaning with water and a mild soap is enough.

Does an off-white cost more?

No. Every shade in the colour chart costs the same per m².

Can white microtopping go over tiles?

Yes, after a skim to zero that fills the grout lines. Without it, they show through.
